Grand China Shipping adds Pusan call

Grand China Shipping said its Super Pacific Express (SPX) service will begin regular calls in Pusan this week.

Grand China Shipping said its Super Pacific Express (SPX) service will begin regular calls in Pusan this week.

The company said one of its ships called Pusan on June 2, but that Pusan would become a part of the regular SPX rotation on June 17.

The new rotation for the weekly SPX service is Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Pusan, Long Beach, Oakland and Qingdao. Transit time from Pusan to Long Beach will be 10 days.

GCS will call the Hutchison Busan Container Terminal.

Grand China Shipping began transpacific service in March.
