MOL to upgrade Asia-Latin service

Mitsui O S K Lines (MOL) will upgrade its Asia-East Coast South America Service (CSW) from next month. MOL will launch 10 new 5,600 TEU containerships on the route.

Mitsui O S K Lines (MOL) will upgrade its Asia-East Coast South America Service (CSW) from next month. MOL will launch 10 new 5,600 TEU containerships on the route.

MOL will assign an additional ship to the CSW service with a total of 13 ships, which allows sufficient time and enhances the schedule stability with a revised schedule.

Along with the fleet expansion, MOL will begin chartering space to a consortium of Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line), Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (“K” Line), Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM), and Pacific International Line (PIL).

The new CSW service rotation is Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Pusan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, , Santos, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Paranagua, Sao Francisco Do Sul, Santos, Rio De Janeiro, Cape Town, Ngqura, Singapore, Hong Kong and Xingang.
